Default a question and a problem

1. why cant I see any of the support forums? lol

2. has anyone else had problems loading up images on a subdomain?

if so how did you fix it?

right now images fail to load properly on my subs. the images are linked correctly I think /images/image1.jpg.

or do I have to specify the sub folder or something?

like subdomain1/images/image1.jpg?

1- Contact GatorWesley to allow you access to all forums.

2- There is many ways to get access to images, here are two :

If your subdomain name is "Sub" and your domain is "Domain.com" and you have your image "image.gif" in the subdomain directory "images" then if your html page is in http://Domain.com/Sub/index.html then your images could be accessed with the relative path "images/image.gif" or the full outside path http://Domain.com/Sub/images/image.gif

ok, thats how they are setup.

but if i view the properties on the image, the image link is said to be Xilo-Hentai.com, which was my old Main Domain name till I changed it last week.

All my images, no matter where they are in my public_html folder, are displaying this way...

on my CP my new domain name ios showing and all the subs are showing correctly as well and I am able to get to my main domain's index page, which is fine but that maybe because it is a flash driven page.

already opened a ticket for this issue.

or excuse me, its actually, if i go to an image link like so:

http://georo.lmpgames.com/georo/images/index_01.jpg

it takes me to http://xilo-hentai.com

but the properties does show the correct path.

OT:
there is no editing button?

Did you noticed that in your first post you have "/images/image1.jpg" and i have in mine "images/image1.jpg". To use the subdomain images it is important no not use the first "/"...

here is how the images are setup:

Quote:
<img id="index_03" src="images/index_03.jpg" width="71" height="23" border="0" alt="" /></a></td>
if you want to see exactly what I mean go to georo.lmpgames.com

then go to lmpgames.com/images and click on any one of the images listed there.

You must have something wrong in your setup, because it is impossible for me to access "lmpgames.com" or "lmpgames.com/georo/" while i am able to access "georo.lmpgames.com"...

All goes to 74.52.148.194 but nothing is comming back from your main domain. I would suggest to have a look at your .htaccess file or any kind of bad redirections...

hmm, do you have adobe flash installed? my main homepage is a AS3/flash page.

anyway i figure it all out, was stupid actually.

Before I had setup a hotlink protection and on it there is a redirect box. Had that set to my old domain.

so when ever an image was accessed it wasnt looking in the correct places.

I removed everything from on that page and now everything is working again.

Your page is just partly fixed. Now we can see all images but your menu items are all getting an error page except the one for the forum.
