Default QDBC Connection

I have searched the forum and the thread to this problem did not help me. I am not sure what to add in the "Add Host" field, so i can access the database via ODBC. I already tried several settings but luck so far. I even tried just the % sign which should allow acces from any host. How can I find my IP as I am behind a router? I logged into a dedicated server with SSH to find the domain name from my ISP but entering that did not help either. Can anybody help me please?

Thanks for the help. Did not know this web site before. But I still cannot connect with ODBC, even entering the IP in the control panel. I dont get a list of databases for that user as I normaly get on other mySQL server. Even entering the database name manualy does not work. This is the error I am getting([MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Access denied for user 'wwwalcaz_alca'@'83.59.209.96' to database 'wwwalcaz_alca'). I think I will tell my client to get a proper server which can be controlled. All these web based control panel are sh***t.

OK OK now for the standard support responces.

1) Dose the usernamne exist?
2) The DB Name?
3) Is the password right? You 101% positive?
4) The username have the nessary premissions on the DB?

If the % should work and everybody says that ODBC should work then I must make a error somewhere. I will recheck all the permission, passwd etc. Already have the db running on another server (not host gator) but dont realy want to move the whole website. That will be a realy pain.

Thanks for all your help
