proxy server support

hi there - not sure who can address this issue, but hope someone can help.
I need to set up a 'proxy' server so i can redirect a feed from youTube to a flex/flash application running on my hostgator box.

it is a mod_rewrite code as follows...

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*)/(.*)$ http://1.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=2

this will assist the flex app in accessing the feed from you tube...but in needs to support the http://au.youtube.com domain...

I may have read your post wrong. But are you trying to setup a proxy server? If so you might want to read HGs TOS.

This will also only work if youtube.com is pointing to your domain. Which it's not.
