I too could not log into my whm account today (on Jetta). After requesting a password reset from the support team, I was able to log in without error.

I had trouble logging into my cpanel accounts as well. My log in trouble went away after manually changing those passwords myself.

had a problem a couple of days ago (sunday) where one of my cpanel passwords was not accepted, but thankfully it wasn't my main account (so didn't affect whm too) and I could change the cpanel password myself. I haven't tried logging in to all accounts but have had no complaints. On the same day I could not access whm or cpanel, it was when I regained access I realised that the password didn't work. For me at least, problem over.

I'm not sure I liked the way the last Jetta thread was closed, I think the tone was ok with people thanking HG for when problems were sorted, and the blanket statement that Jetta has no problems was never gonna hold true forever, as the creation of this thread indicates. Not a major gripe, just didn't quite understand it. It is clear though that HG are watching this server closely, so that's one thing we've got to be happy about...

When we did the cpanel upgrade a few passwords on Jetta were lost. A very strange issue!

Just put a ticket in and we can get it fixed for you.

Other ticket was closed, because the issue was resolved. Any new issues that come up deserve a new ticket to better address the situation.

All my sites have gone down. Hope this is associated with the ram upgrades?

Jetta has been great for the last week, but yesterday and today it`s back to normal. The sites are loading very slow at times, and emails are timing out again.

Someone being naughty on the server?

Down again.

Ps. Quite amazing how I send a support email about downtime, then a few minutes later the sites come back online. Followed by an email `Your sites are all running fine` !

hmm... I haven't seen problems at all. I check mail every 10 mins, so they'd have to be very short outages for me not to notice... What have the load figures been like? I think we need some monitoring with statistics recorded for this server. (load averages and peak values recorded, uptime statistics for multiple services kept). Does any client on Jetta offer that? Could they share the info?

Yeah, they are approx ten minutes outages. Siteuptime reports it as +30minutes of course!!

I can only guess the server is being rebooted or something? It`s just damn annoying because I can be typing up a long winded post on my forum, press submit and it goes down I lose the whole post, and then if I`m really unlucky, clients will be asking what happened!!

ic. no wonder I didn't notice when they're so short... but shortly, I will not be the only one checking my account all the time. I think, in the spirit of thread http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=2293 (completely ignored) that we need to know about the outages even if they are short. You say that if you're "unlucky", you get customers complain. That's the most important point as far as I'm concerned - if our customers complain, we need to have an answer! It is very very annoying to be so little informed - if we were shared hosting customers, then we only need to be told when we ask, but since we are to our customers the hosting providers, we need to know in all cases. I'm only just starting out (taking it slowly so I really know what I'm doing), and its issues like this that annoy me enough to wonder about the long-term wisdom of having my reseller here. If I was convinced I should be here, I'd upgrade my reseller account as required, etc. but I digress. There's no point in having two threads on the same topic.

hmm, 30 isn't a very high frequency... check out www.pingtopia.com for information on other monitoring services. I'll be implementing it myself soon at short intervals, to be able to determine exactly how much HG aren't telling us.
