I found something very interesting.

6.05 2.23 0.0
Top Process %CPU 76.0 /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/exes/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe
Top Process %CPU 60.6 /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/exes/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe
Top Process %CPU 60.5 /usr/local/frontpage/version5.0/exes/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe

A user keeps using all the servers cpu every few days doing something with frontpage. I'm not too sure what they're doing but they seem to be the problem and will be moved. Thank you for alerting.

Great to hear this! I've gotten to the point that I stopped emailing support or cared whether the servers up or down. My customers have learned to live with the weekly downtime. Maybe with this resolution, my customers will have a better experience and I can concentrate on expanding.

Every service going down is investigated by me, dave, or lyron to keep it from happening again. When there is an outage and you want information on it the best place to go is here...

The techs doing the tickets are not the ones who fix server problems so would have no idea what is being done or has been done.

We stop around a 100 issues a day most before they ever even become issues so it is impossible for all techs to know of everything.

The only time we arent aware of a problem would be an instance like this where everything is up and just somewhat slower so no one complains.
