Default Problem with Red5 and port 5080?

Hey Guys,

I was able to properly install Red5 on my VPS server, however I cannot access the Red5 page via http://myip:5080? I opened up the ports in the firewall and wasn't sure if there's another firewall in place that's causing an issue?

Thanks,
Jonathan

there is also IPTABLES - just contact support and let them open the port for you :-)

Jonathan,

Depends on what type of firewall you have. If you have our firewall we install on dedis there are two files /etc/firewall/OUTPUT & INPUT <- if not there, create them... If you add the port number in each then restart the firewall /etc/init.d/firewall restart , it will open both inbound and outbound.

If it's CSF, there should be a menu inside your WHM. PM me if you need me to open it for you and i'll be glad to help.
