Problem PHP + IMAP + SSL + Outbound

Hi:

I have just moved my SugarCRM site to hostgator but I am having a problem with my imap.

SugarCRM is a php based application that is trying to download email from "google apps" using IMAP + SSL.

The PHP app (SugarCRM) is trying to connect using port 993; but It always returns "Connection refused".

I am testing from another provider at the same time and it is working fine..

So, I presume that outbound connections using port 993 are closed.

Can somebody let me know how to configure it properly, or can Tech Support allow this outbound connection from a PHP application?

I believe you have to request activation of SSL for your account. I would submit a ticket on this.

Contact HG support and ask them to open that port for outbound connections.
