Problem htaccess SEO Joomla HostGator
Hi,
I installed a joomla on a URL I had not changed dns over yet. I have an url like this : http://gator904.hostgator.com/~mylogin/ I have activated Joomla SEO and only index is OK. Other pages (rewritted) are white ? I found the following thread : "I had not changed dns over yet... and I didn't think that would matter... since i put the hostgator URL in the Joomla config..." What joomla config is he taking about ? configuration.php ? Do you know ? Do you have an idea ? Thanks for reply F.

Joomla SEO does not work with a temporary address.

I do not believe that the rewrites will work before the DNS has been changed and the domain has propagated. The rewrite commands are based on the domain of the account and you would not be able to put the rewrite commands in the correct place to rewrite anything based on the server name.
