Problem with CGI scripts

HostGator set up AgoraCart. I had some initial permission errors, which I think I solved, however, when I try to get to my admin area or just to the cart itself, FF and IE both are prompting to either save or find an application to open the CGI script. I have no add-ons blocking its running. How can I get the browser to execute the script and open the page?
