Problem with Add-On Domain

Ok I tried to add another domain, and I got IP addresses as the name servers, however, NameCheap doesn't accept IP Addresses as NameServers, so what should I do?

go to hostgator.com/domains
then you can input your domain name and manage it
i mean your first one
and look at the nameservers this one has
and put the same ones to the addon domain
then you can go to the cpanel and set thing up

Ah ok, thanks. I'll try that. It's that I thought the ones for the 2nd domain would be different but I guess not.

Nameservers for an addon domain are the same as for the main domain.

What threw me off were the IP addresses they gave me as NameServers
