Hello,
i am a new HG dedicated client and i registered here a little while ago.
How long does it take to get full forum permissions to the rest of the forum?

The dedicated forum says it's private and i cant even read the threads.
It's cool, i know it takes time but, how long about do you think?

Thank you but i registered for hosting first and then came here to register.
I sent an e-mail so hopefully i will be added soon so i can view the help forums for the dedicated servers.

I don't think the order matters much. It's just that full access requires board admin confirmation in order to keep down the spam potential as much as possible. Occasionally some legitimate new arrival gets missed which is the reason for that "just in case" item Keith referred you to. Now that you nudged them about it via email, I'm sure you'll be joining the fully privileged group very soon.

We're so used to a lot of HG being 24/7 that it's easy to forget that some things are still tethered to regularish US business hours. You may have to wait until Monday to get activated.

Congrats, now that you have full membership on these forums be sure to check out the stickies post are the top of the forums, members have contributed a lot of very useful and helpful tidbits of information.

Doing a careful search of the forums can usually pull up posts relating to any questions you might have, believe it or not if you have an issue, probably someone else in the past has had the same issue.

These peer to peer forums are some of the better peer support forums I've had the pleasure to be part of.

I can't access the private forums either. I just sent hostgator an email. I joined the forums before I purchased the webhosting.
