Private DNS Question

I recently signed up for a reseller account with HG and registered my private DNS through my domain registrar as per the instructions on the reseller welcome email.

When I added a new account to my reseller account the DNS that appears is the "websitewelcome.com" domain. I realize it will take 24-48 hours for the private DNS to propogate. My question is if I change the DNS on the domain for the newly created account to my private DNS today, will it point to the correct DNS when the private DNS is propogated? Or would I have to wait until the private DNS has propogated before I point any domains to it?

The same thing happened to me, I just contacted support and they setup up the private name servers for me.
