Can resellers modify their end-user's (re: client's) control panel to limit what features are available?
Some clients are not too computer savy and may do more harm than good from within the control panel. If resellers have the ability to edit the control panel layout (ie: remove the control panel home links that point to the control panel index), then we could create a simple custom control panel (of sorts) and just include links to webmail, webstats, and other features we chose to make available. Thanks in advance, - mal |

:| ok. after quite a bit of reading, I think I've come close to answering my own question. Do resellers have this option, where we can edit our user's cp features:
http://www.cpanel.net/docs/whm/UsingFeatureManager.htm if so, does it allow us to modify any of the features in the control panel? if the feature manager isn't available, is there an alternative? Thanks. |

The best thing when it comes to the control panel is to either give them complete access or none. You could limit their functions but the ones who do use the control panel would much rather have more options, even if they don't know what it means.
You could setup the list if you chose to, but we don't reccomend it as it's not really needed... Hope that helps. Sincerely, Brent
