I am trying to find ways to cover the cost of the few websites I currently have and I think becoming a Host Reseller is my best option and as a bonus I can make some money as well. My first question is... (probably more to come

One of my websites uses PHP scripts and talks to Game Servers and they are on many different ports. With my current webhost, I have to submit a ticket to have the outgoing ports opened. Will I have this kind of control with my service?

If the ports are closed you'll have to ask to get them opened.

And you may want to email support first to make sure they'll do it on a non-dedicated.
