It's somewhat confusing that the same name applies to both non-activated (presales) members and activated members who haven't made enough posts to reach the next level.

While the issue of non-activated members learning of the existence of the categories they can't see has been handled, to some extent, this would help a different problem--people responding to "hatchling" questions in the public categories would be able to give better, more direct answers if it was more obvious they hadn't been activated. A couple of weeks ago, it took six or seven posts to determine that several weeks after getting his/her account, s/he still hadn't been granted full forum access.

Yes, it would be good if Unverified members could get a title such as ''Unverified''

An additional benefit: it would be an easy way to prohibit them from posting (hidden) images and links. Without them, it would deter people coming in just to spam.
