hello,
I am intersted in buying a web hosting package here. I wanted to know what steps do i have to take in order to have a phpbb forum (like this one here) in my site - do i have to do any configuring/programming? can u guys install it for me ? or maybe there is no need for installation? will i have to pay some extra money? In short - what process do i have to do in order to have phpbb forums (othee than ordering and paying for the package)?

another question is - what is a sub domain?
do i have to register to each sub domain (buy a domain)? Is it possible having my site without buying a domain? (e.g. www.gator.com/myAccount) thanx again

thats what cpanel is for 8) making stuff easy.. after you order your account, you can get cpanel to install a forum for you automatically.. easy.. such as my forum.. http://animestrike.com/forum .. you can config the theme if you want as i did..
I believe that you need a domain as well... for everything to work.. hostgator (domain section) charges $15 per domain.. so its not that much... a sub-domain would be like what this forum does... http://forum.hostgator.com... as an example.. allows you to use http://forum.hostgator.com instead of http://hostgator.com/forum .. you can also setup redirection for them as well.. etc.. whatever else..

Hi again,
Thanx for youre quick reply. krazy - thanx for your help I surfed your site and its really kool justa few suggestions - first it is hard to understand about what is the site about, so i suggest u put an "about us" or somethin like that page, second the backround color combined with the text is a lil hard to read (strained my eyes, but again that could be only me) :? . But other than that u have a gr8 site  .support - 1 more questions - Say i get a domain, is it possible after a while to change its name (or do i have to pay/ get a new one)? for example i get domain www.mydomain1.com and after 2 months idecide to change it to www.I-Have-Changed-My-Mind.com . thanx again and good day Yellow

We dont charge for you to switch, but domain names do cost $$. They are a one time yearly fee. We sell them for $15 a year each.
