Hi, I just wanted to drop this note in here, in case HG is considering upgrading to version 4.3.10 of PHP. This is all way over my head, but since I use a CMS on my HG account, and I saw this thread about people's sites crashing, that HG may want to know about it, before they got complaints after an upgrade...
Apparently some things like Mambo are having a conflict w/ the latest 4.3.10 version of PHP on some servers, and it causes the whole site to crash, and as I write this, the sources I've referenced are at different stages with this, some have rolled back to 4.3.9, some have found a fix (supposedly), and some are unclear. Here is a thread in mambo server that may be of some use to you: http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthr...0&page=1&pp=10 Hope that helps, please do post if you see it as an issue, or have found a work around, or have a time frame for the upgrade, if at all. Thanks, Karz |

The problem is caused by the "foreach" operator and those who intend to install 4.3.10 should also install the latest ZendOptimizer (at the time of writing 2.5.7)...
And the world makes sense again

We (at escape server) were happy to find that HG took care to install 4.3.10 PLUS to upgrade Zend Optimizer to latest 2.5.7, so our Mambo installations are working fine, as always!
HG, keep up the good work ![]() sonic |

good to hear sonic, actually, I just went and looked and it appears as if I'm on 4.3.10 as well, and I know I checked before and saw the old version, which is why I posted here about what was likely an inevitable upgrade...
so cheers to HG then on a job well done, I saw several people freaking out on different forums because their host did not handle it as well... karz |
