No you don't need to post in my topic to receive feedback. I sure didn't do that with this topic anyway. People just replied. Maybe you aren't being clear enough in what you need answered or are asking a question about...

Seeing as I'm not a customer (yet), you probably won't believe any feedback I provide, nor will I know the answers of what you are asking. I'm sure you will receive an answer soon from either the community or by staff.

Sorry about the delay on getting to the offending content, it should be removed. Does anyone have a picture of an alligator biting into a spam can?

Looking good GvilleRick! Creative.

A crocodile biting into a SPAM can would be even better though, as GatorFord has suggested.

Registering for the Aluminium reseller package now.

Now that I am a customer, isn't my forum account meant to be updated so that I can view all of the forums, rather then the normal forums viewable to the public? Hopefully this can get changed as soon as possible so that I can take full advantage of this fantastic forum!

I am extremely pleased with the customer service here. ALL of my questions and queries have been tended to with the upmost dedication of the HostGator staff and I really appreciate it. I look forward to continuing my business with you.

Thank you very much slapshotw. I just sent him an email now. Is there any estimate on when he will reply or give my account full forum access?

Oh ok then. It's 3:03 PM my time so it shouldn't be too far around the corner. Can't wait to see the rest of the forum. Something I've been looking forward to ever since noticing the potential in the forum, the community and the great support.

Everything with my reseller account is going well. We should be getting the website design and coding done very soon, as well as setting up and releasing the forum. The only troubles I am coming upon now is waiting for my friend to transfer my domain (which is under his name) to me; he was the original purchaser.

I've seen GatorWesley online yesterday, why did he not activate my account? Is there a process that they must do before giving a particular member full forum access? I have waited a little over a day for my account to be made a full member and I hope it doesn't take much longer...

The Australian HG field service guy should be knocking on your door any hour now...you'll be able to see the croc-shaped van from a block or two away.

Sorry for the double post, but does anyone know whether there is some sort of charge and/or discount offered if I was to upgrade from the Aluminium reseller package to the Copper and higher reseller packages?

I just wanted to know as business for me is going alright so far. We don't have a fully functional website yet but that will all be taken care of before Christmas (hopefully). The only thing that I have running completely is the forum. Anyways, hopefully someone can answer my question soon. I may just be requesting a higher package soon.

Nope, most coupons are for new customers only.

Damn. So I am guessing that there isn't any discount or sale when transferring from a reseller account to dedicated servers?

Thanks a lot for getting back to me once again slapshotw.

Yes, coupons work for this. Reseller to dedicated isn't really 'an upgrade' of plans, think of the dedicated as a new purchase.

There's no discounts when upgrading among shared/reseller plans.

Thanks a lot for answering my question kmaw and I apologise in advance for taking such a long time to reply. I've been busy with my hosting service as well as with real life; I'm sure most of you know what I am talking about.

Things are running smoothly however it is taking a little while to gain customers. I've had a couple of people register to the forum but most of them are friends of mine whom I told to join up, lol. Hopefully I will increase traffic and registered users/customers very soon. Any ideas to assist with this problem?

have a fully functional site? On the homepage, when I click on "apply today", it doesn't do anything. Also, these page don't have any content. About us, hosting packages, support, partners, about us. IMO, if a hosting company doesnt have an about us and a phone number I can call, I would NEVER go with that company because they are probably a fly-by-night operation.

I would have to agree with bbjordan. If someone has to go to a forum to sign up for hosting, I doubt they're going to do it. Getting some content on those pages would be my first goal.
