Where is the 'post-sales' (normal) forum?!

I had some pre-sales questions, I have now signed up and things seem fine so far

If I want to discuss (with other Hostgator members) some general/basic topics is this still the best place to do so? This is clearly marked pre-sales questions and the other forums are also for specific other purposes.

How many other categories can you see? You should now see the ones for the type of account you have (shared, reseller, Linux Dedicated, Windows Dedicated), several reseller invoice systems, Web Hosting services, Web Hosting (for all general web hosting questions), off-topic, and promotion.

If you don't, check out the sticky at the top of this category about forum access and do what it says.
