POST-SALE questions (forum permission, etc)

I recently signed up as a shared host. Having a hard time getting started. Not much info in your "Getting started" page, and I don't have "permission" to do a search on the forums.

I have several questions that I'm betting have already been asked and answered in the forums, but can't get to them.

The forum software recognizes me as a member, but I can't do a search. What's up?

Your forum account has to be verified and activated. This usually occurs within 24-48 hours. Meanwhile, if you have questions, go ahead and ask.

How will I know when my Forum Account has been activated?

The "undefined" field under your name will change to "HostGator Shared" and you will be able to access the member forums.
