I am an OpenSRS reseller and the cgi scripts used to conduct business with OpenSRS and query their database establishes connection via ports 55000. 55443 and 55444. I am having problems making the connection and the only answers I find is port blocking by the firewall.
Do you allow such connections on regular shared hosting packages or do I need to upgrade package? |

the best thing to do is to contact support / sales AT hostgator DOT com or start a chat by clicking on the LIVE CHAT icon on the top right of this page.
