Woke up this am and can't download my e-mail, none of the pop servers on any of my domains are responding. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm on the hummer machine.

I tried contacting live support and they never answered...
Then I submitted a trouble ticket. |

Ok, if the server responds why can't I download my e-mail? What has changed? I haven't changed my settings on this machine, and I also have pop access online and it wouldn't open, either. help me figure out what's going on here!

I can't figure out my login for the trouble ticket system so I sent the ticket not logged in, but had all the pertinent details.
Its almost 3:00 pm here and I still dont have email, I've talked to live support, they said to contact a system administrator by submitting a trouble ticket. But since my email is down and I can't log in I really have no way of telling if anyone is working on this or not. They said they were able to send and receive fine, great for them, but I can't! And its not just with Outlook Express. I also have email software installed on my server and it is not able to open e-mail either. |

Thats why they tell you when you sign up NOT to use an email address that is @ the domain you are signing up with!

For the future (or even for now), sign up for a new helpdesk account using an email address that's NOT a hostgator email! If you want, open up a new one now, and just give your old ticket number if you have it. Otherwise just submit a new ticket.

That also helps if you get suspended. 99% of the idiots who get suspended and say, "Hostgator never sent me an email" actually have their email suspended with their site, so that can't get email at all!
