I am considering a Windows server. One thing I am unclear on is what do I use Plesk for versus what do I use remote desktop for? I know Plesk is like WHM/cpanel but just wanted to clarify exactly what I would use each for.

Plesk is an easy interface for managing clients, domains, FTP users, email users, and setting up limits/quotas for the domains.
Remote Desktop gives you full administrative access to the server but, while you can do everything Plesk does directly through Remote Desktop, we recommend doing as much as possible through Plesk. Remote Desktop is most useful for advanced administrative tasks, such as updating or installing new software on the server. |

That's what I thought but I'd also heard installing updates using remote desktop can potnetially break Plesk. So I was just curious as to what good RD is with Plesk installed as well.
