I am a custom with HostGator. I have attempted to join the support forum. My username is accepted, as well as my password.. but I only am able to view the presale forums. And I am unable to view or review my forum account information. I have emailed GatorJay x2 with no results. Even though I clicked the verification email link.. I feel I need to be verified personally.. and this has not been done.
domain: colleenscorner.com __ the above was submitted as a ticket to support two days ago. I still have not had my account activated in the support forum. Any ideas or suggestions? What do I have to do to be able to use and view the general tech forum. |

Don't hold your breath. I've been waiting a week. I've PM'd GatorJay, called support, posted here about it. They have great support here, just no access to it.
In this post http://forums.hostgator.com/showthread.php?t=10539 GatorBrent (the owner?) said he was shocked about it taking someone 5 days for forum access. Looks like he wasn't shocked enough to fix it.. ![]() Maybe if they make the new customer fix their own problems for the first week it cuts down on the really dumb "Help Me!" posts in the forums? - Joe |

If someone has been waiting since 10/17 and still is not activated they may not have verified the email automatically sent to them, are they still not active?

Same here... I've been waiting a week now...
I've activated my account, but when I registered my server wasn't listed (as far as I could see)... I'm on Tundra btw... Regards Holmis |

My server IP was not listed either. How do you find out your server's name?

In Web Host Manager under Server Information i also get "tundra.websitewelcome.com" but support told me i was on Gator184, it might be worth asking support just to be sure.
