The Planet Network Switch Outage

The Planet has a switch down affecting several servers. The following servers are currently having network issues.

impulse
alpina
century
gator365
gator366
gator367

gator372
gator373

The Planet is working as fast as possible to restore connectivity.

We're working directly with them and are awaiting any updates from them at this time.

so, can they tell us when this switch will be done as this is affecting our 4 sites that we are using...

The only information I have now is from The Planet :

"It looks like the uplink from the switch to the CAR died. It is being rebooted now and I have requested a full investigation. Still looking into it."

I've requested an official RFO from them but of course the first priority is getting this back online.

I just did a live chat and they don't yet know how long as it just happened. I have 20 sites down.

same thing... but for only 3 websites. That put me in a better position... still a bad one, but a better-bad one

update:
by the way, I was updating one of the website, hoping I haven't lost much data... one of primary things I'll do when it'll be online again, is a backup!

gator404 is online, and is not related to the same network issue. If you're having issues with gator404, please give us a URL, a ticket ID, hop in live chat, or get on the phones with some actual information about what issue you're having. How can I tell which server I'm on?
OR if I have to ask I shouldn't?

It is a hatchling account.

FYI background: Live help sent me here too. I can get to my web page http://www.hoffmancentral.org but not /cpanel (or :2082) - it times out.

gator401 is your server

As for cpanel, your firewall or your isp firewall must be blocking it.
