An option to choose a UK based server for your account would be great for those of us on this side of the pond.

I guess that is unlikely to happen, but if it does it would make a lot of difference to Europian shared hosting business in general. Unlike US, there is not much options for selecting a reasonable priced UK based quality host.

I looked into UK webhosting companies before going to Hostgator, and they were far more costly. I highly doubt the prices would be the same, and I wonder how many of those asking for a London server would be willing to pay more for the privilege.

When I decided to move to HG price was only one of the considerations and yes, if HG offered UK based servers I would be willing to pay a bit more.

I think many european costumers would like to pay a bit more for european hosting from hostgator
