not exactly a pre sales question more of a cry for help with phpbb ive set it up maually and can be viewed here http://70.86.13.34/~woodrose/forum as you can see im still waiting for the dns to update but in theory this should still work. when you manually type or copy this url http://70.86.13.34/~woodrose/forum into ie it comes up with the correct colour scheme but if you just click the link it goes to a blue oneand takes you to http://avenger.websitewelcome.com/~woodrose/forum/ away from the first link and for some reason when you first get to the forum the colours are as i changed in the css script but once you log in the default back to the standard blue

is this just because the nameservers havnt been updated yet or is it a bigger problem

any help with this would be great as its doing my head in ive set up forums in the past with no probs but have all had a domain not an ip?

I had some confusion with color schemes too. What happend for me:

I had set Aphrodite green as the default new color. So when I created some users they were using Aphrodite green. But whenever i came back and logged in, it reverted to subSilver.

Remember, as an admin, you have to set your profile too! Since you were already set up before installing the new colors and selecting them as default, your admin profile is likely still set as subSilver. Change the profile setting for you, log out and then log back in and it should be good.
