Default phpbb critical update

Hi All,

This message is for the admin and for anyone that is running their forum with phpbb. There is a critical update and phpbb.com is strongly recommending that people udate their version of the software as soon as possible. You could find more information here http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=244451.

Well, we're running vBulletin,
but I'm sure several clients are using phpBB.

Thanks,
Stef.

Stef,

I know that you're using vbulletin for this forum. I mentioned the admin because phpbb2 is offered in fantastico and some people may be using that script. When I first learned of the update I did it right away on the forum that I'm running.

There are 3 choices you could make when updating. I chose the changed files download, read the read me file and ftp'd the files. It was quite easy and took about 5 min.
