Migrations are complete for all servers at this time except astro. We are performing some emergency maintenance on astro at this time. There is currently no ETA.

My reseller server was migrated last night and all seems to be fine.

Just one question though. Did the migration create and leave a new mySQL database, information_schema? It does not show up in my control panel mySQL list but it there in MyPhpAdmin.

Is it safe to delete? If so, what is the best way to delete it?

You cannot delete this DB, as you do not have the required permissions to remove it. Don't worry about this database, it's a global db that does not count towards your limit, it's just there to store miscellaneous information and metadata about other tables and databases.

I am very displeased.

You did not email to let us know of any maintenance and my website is down. I understand the need for this, but i should have gotten an email so I can let my users know before. I have a reseller account and not letting my customers know ahead of time makes me look very bad!!!!!

Next time please send an email to all accounts affected by your scheduled maintenance so we can in turn let others know if necessary. Maybe doing maintenance a bit later will be best. Out in Pacific time, it took place too early. not even 10pm and server went down. Got emails of customers saying server went down.

Again, either advise in advance so we know its coming and we dont look bad, or do it after midnight pacific time.

Just my 2 cents.

Thanx.

I apologize for the inconvenience these migrations have caused you and I thank you for your ongoing patience while we move ahead with this. This was however posted well advance (almost 6 months) in our General Announcements and Network Status sections. You can find the reseller migrations thread sticky'd here: http://forums.hostgator.com/reseller...ed-t35106.html

I also gave a 3 day second notice before performing the upgrades on these particular servers in addition to the prior notice that the migrations would be happening on all servers. It's very important as a reseller with us that you remain advised on what we have coming down the pipe as far as upgrades and server maintenance go. Unforunately e-mailing our clients every time we make a server change is not a feasible solution for us to take due to the sheer volume of clients we have.

We do try very hard to keep the lines of communication open with you all however and I will be available to all of you here in the General Announcements and Network Status forums or via PM or e-mail anytime you need a question answered.

I am getting the following error on this IP 67.18.19.242

nascartr_forum.adminhelp
error : Table './nascartr_forum/adminhelp' was created with a different version of MySQL and cannot be read

All of my databases read like that now. Just started tonight but I did not see that IP in the list?

Patrick, I dont have time to read your forums. There needs to be an email sent out to the primary account or at a bear minimum incorporate a subscription based system based on server that will allow me to subscribe to notices on my particular server.

Are these migrations finished now? I still have one website down.

I have repaired this server (this actually had nothing to do with the migrations)

I understand your frustrations and the subscription list for server updates is actually a very good idea. I will discuss your idea with our CTO. In the meantime most of the migrations are completed right now, can you please advise me which site is down? I can look at that and get it resolved for you.

Caliber and Bluedevil are finished migrating. Still doing some final checks on beetle, batmobile, and camaro.

I will update this again when they are all finished.

kb5sej, patrick has left for the night, but if you still have sites with issues can you reply and/or pm me so I can take care of them?

NOT EVERYONE HAS TIME TO VISIT YOUR FORUM and not everyone likes forums to begin with. And using that as a means to announce is not very professional. Mailing list for all resellers at least is a must have solution for a future project. Also you should consider doing upgrades/migrations or any type of maintenance after midnight when there is less chance of it affecting us. But announcing in advance is the best approach in case anyone uses this time to do backups or maintenance themselves.

Yea I wish you guys would "EMAIL" us instead of letting us find out on this group. We didn't pay so we can lurk around the forum 24/7 to find out things like that.

After the upgrade, I am getting ioncube loader errors on some of my sites.
the most important ones are www.netoptlocal.com and www.skyabovelocal.com

The error is
Site error: the file /home/netopt/public_html/components/com_juser/router.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

Is there a place i can upload the ioncube loader in my whm or cpanel or will it be updated with the upgrade?

Please advise.

That is now resolved. The ioncube loaders had to be removed systemwide while we upgraded the PHP version. They have been reinstalled globally and your sites now resolve properly. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
