Default PHP Tidy Library

What are the chances of such a module being included inside php5 with Host Gator? It looks like it would prove really handy on some of my customers websites regrding having nice , shiny code as opposed to keeping it with some of the crazy ms word copy 'n' paste stuff I see on the sites from time to time.

If it's not possible. Or there are any other alternatives, perhaps the tidy lib as a perl module or a php class based solution, I've been scouring for such a class based solution and so far turned up nowt, that would be really handy to know about.

From what i have read from HostGator documentation few months ago, you still just have to send a ticket to support for any library, modules you need to be installed.

I already have make them install a gif animation library for php when i signed with them...

Keep us informed about the results...

Ahh, just got this message:

"Unfortunately, at the moment, we do not support that library. We can install that on a dedicated server but not on our shared servers. If you have any more questions, just let us know."

Ahh well, back to the drawing board

I am sorry for you!

I checked again and cannot find anymore the section were HostGator wrote that we could ask them to install modules and libraries.

Maybe this is part of some "silent" downgrades occuring...

You can still request installations...but they've never guaranteed they'd say yes. They do install things sometimes.

Yes i know, that even if nothing was "garanteed" at least it was offered in writing that they would "try" to install any modules needed.

I really can't remember in which section i read that 3 months ago...

Any clues someone?

No joy on the perl version either. hmm, I wander if coding a php based solution is possible.
Actually, that would probably take me a forever to do lol

I've found an alternative called PHP Cleaner, doesn't do exactly the job I want but it may be handy for someone else, note it's license type before using it mind
