I signed up for Baby yesterday and I am in progress of moving my files from my old website to HG.
I have a personal family website that use DRUPAL with GALLERY2. Gallery2 recommends at least 16MB or more of PHP memory Limit yet HG put a cap on 8MB. I created a support ticket Ticket # GYU-486339 and was told that HG can up to limit to 10MB and that is as high HG can go. right now, my Gallery2 is not working properly and everytime i tried to do something, it gave me Fatal error with saying Allowed memory size exhausted tried to allocate more byte. do anybody use Gallery2 at Hostgator? After all Gallery2 is the most famous photo album organizer... Is there any work around? or do i have to leave HG after just 2 days? Kichul. |

If you upgrade to a larger account will they raise this limit for you?

Only to semi-dedicated or dedicated. That is a MUCH larger account.

8M is too small. 16M is the minium requirement of many scripts, e.g. vBulletin, phpBB, Joomla etc.
