This is being done this week. There may be 1-2 minute downtime at most. We estimate less than 1% of the scripts will be affected. Please do not ask us what scripts will be affected. You will need to contact the developer of the script. We will try and keep everyone updated on the upgrade on this thread.

I have a very simple script, and fopen() is erroring out.

we are getting an error message opening phpMyAdmin

Below you'll find a copy of my message to support. The bigger issue here is that whoever keeps recompiling PHP needs to be more careful about including the proper modules during the recompilation to prevent this [and possibly the prior poster's] problem. Note that as of this post, the problem hasn't been fixed yet.

This is the third time we have dealt with this issue and it is starting to cost us money now.

First time it happened was around March 04, 2004.
Second time was June 07, 2004.
Now, it's happened again, sometime in the last 24 hours.

Please have your server administrator make a note that whenever PHP is recompiled on our server, we MUST have the Sablotron module compiled with it, otherwise all of our sites break!
