Pear for PHP

Does Host gator offer pear for php? I saw that they had curl, but i don't see anything about pear.

Yes, PEAR packages are installed on the servers.
Since you don't have shell access you can't do a "pear install" to install a missing package, but you can ask support to do it for you.
