I have launched a website www.Pazeh.net which will serve as the central link of sites that I have or will construct.
The aim of these sites is to "Promote the Armenian Heritage online". Have a look at the site & let me know what you think about it & the overall project. Btw, Pazeh is the Armenian of "Hawk", which is considered as the national bird of Armenia as the golden eagle is for USA. Beside this, Pazeh (hawk) is also my scout totem ![]() The colors RED, BLUE & ORANGE used on the site are the colors of the Armenian flag. PAZEH.NETwork Best Regards, Pazeh

yep, guilty I am 2 of the hits..
the background and your content fields blend and your national colors as thin lines confuse it more...(now i am a sucker for big and bold).. I would use the colors on the Tittle tabs . Behind the word "Main Menu" and "welcome to P.." ...etc :-) Last edited by tina; 09-26-2005 at 03:56 PM. |

Pazeh,
The organization is clear and the content seems easy to find. I'm not a big fan of wallpapered background with faded designs, as it draws the eye away from content and looks a bit muddy, but at least you put a solid background under your text, so thank you for that! ![]() I would like to see some indication that the links in the left navigation panel are links. Underline or different color or something. You should give visitors a visual cue to click on clickable things. I don't like the "Sites" box, as it just has a URL with no indication of what it is or why I would want to click on it. These days, people are more leery than ever about blind links, since it could go to some pay site or a malicious site. I would agree with the previous poster that Times Roman is a bit "boring", but at least it is clear and readable. Your logo is much more of a problem. It looks like Atari block graphics from the 1980's. Having a "Pages Viewed" statistic might be nice for you, but why are you presenting it to your visitors on your home page? What do they get out of it? I'd try to reduce that long left column any way I could, and that would be my first candidate for elimination. Remember, people hate to scroll websites! On your Project News page you have a funny typo: "PAZEH.NETwork Lunched - on: 2005-09-10" I hope it tasted good! The same typo is found later in the text as well.On your Suggestions page you need a more clear link to your suggestions form. You can't tell that you are supposed to click in the body copy to get to the form. Ideally I would like to eliminate that page jump and just embed the form directly on the suggestions page. Why make people work to get to it? Good luck! --Ken |

Nice site, but I don't like the logo (upper left) hard to read and colors conflict.

Throw in some pictures. I think that's one of the reasons it looks "blank" that and the fact that the ads table creates a whole lot of nothing next to it. I bet if you make the google ads run horizontally instead of vertically you'll be a step better.
