Hello,
I have some SSI directives I'd like to process, that work great with a .shtml extension. But I'd like to use a file with a .html extension to process them instead. I tried adding a "html server-parsed" handler through my cpanel, and saw it in the .htaccess file. But when I try to access any .html page on that site, I get a File Download dialog box, wanting to download a file named .x-httpd-php rather than the html page I was expecting. I saw the MIME type x-httpd-php was associated with html extensions, so wondered if that was causing a problem. Is there any way on your servers to process SSI in a given directory with .html extension? Thank you, vsbweb |

No, there's not. To use SSI you need a file with an extention .SHTML.
