Default parked domain question

Not sure I'm posting on the right forum but here goes. I have my main domain with hostgator baby croc account - i.e., www.domain.com. I bought a second domain name through hostgator - i.e., www.domain2.com. I want the second domain to "point" to my main domain. So...I went to parked domain option under cpanel and typed in domain2.com but when I type in domain2.com in my browser it doesn't redirect to domain.com. I did this a month or so ago so I figured it would have time to propogate by now. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks in advance.

Parked domains are ment to do that.. for what you want to do it's probably best to use webforwarding for domain2.com at your domain registar

This assumes you want the browser to show domain.com in the address bar when people go to domain2.com.

Does domain2.com show the contents of domain.com? If so, then I would *not* follow _Sam_'s advise, leave it as is, and make a redirect in cPanel to get the domain to change.

If domain2.com doesn't work at all, then you need to set the nameservers correctly or ask support to do it.
