Two questions:

I understand that you don't oversell to us, but can't WE oversell on our packages as resellers?

If not, everytime I host a hobby site or my friends' sites, I'd have to setup a gazillion different package types and upgrade them a billion times if they ever actually reach the point of outgrowing their tiny allotments, which would be really time inefficient in terms of administration. I hope I read the other users' question wrong.

Secondly, you give us enom accounts free w/autopilot, but is there any help setting that up? Enom looks pretty confusing and does it get easier to setup because you're using WHM and thus skipping registryrocket and all that hullabaloo? Are there any tutorials or anything on setting up your enom accounts here?

Thanks

No, you cannot. If you create a package that features 500MB disk space, and your reseller plan allows for 2GB, then you are only able to create 4 of those accounts - whether they use their allottment of space or not.

The only way to be certain that every user gets what they pay for is to prevent overselling. Imagine that your plan allowed you 50GB of bandwidth to sell per month. You then create a package that allows for 10GB bandwidth per month, and you sell this package to 10 of your customers. Customer #1 quickly eat up all 10GB of his allottment, thus leaving only 40GB to split over the remaining 9 accounts. You now have 1 customer who got what he paid for (10GB), and 9 customers that paid for 10GB, but are only able to use about 4.5GB.

See how you can get into trouble by overselling?

Also, keep in mind that it is not required to create a new package each time you wish to upgrade a user. If you wish to bump up someones quota or bandwidth limit, you are free to do so w/o having to create a new package.

We are still trying to get together some comprehensive documentation for eNom, but if you have any questions along the way, feel free to post here on the boards. There are plenty of eNom users here who will be able to assist you.
