Positive Over 3 months in

I have to say that HG has been one of my better choices when it comes to business. Over 3 months ago I spent weeks trawling and eventually decided on HG.

Set up went well (a few hours) propogation was erratic but 72 hours was pretty close.

WHM autopilot install (paid for but what a bargain) and all was well.

I had a minor prob with cron jobs which took a few emails to get sorted but the guys got there in the end (after a heated exchange of emails) and Lyron sorted it. Although this wound me up a bit it also upset Lyron but the communication got there in the end. The important point was that none of this was affecting my sites or clients.

I have had a few ups and downs in terms of availability but nothing that would get close to the 99.9% promise. If anything this has been considerably better than previous hosts.

I had a slight panic today over an unpaid invoice - turns out it was a hangover from the install. Ticket was answered and resolved in less than an hour - great service

I think I can say that this team has been pretty good considering I am new to reselling and I have only had a few small issues to resolve. And just to cap it off I am UK based so I don't get the luxury of telephoning for support unless I want to pay mega-bucks for the call.

Keep up the great work

Default Into 6 months now

OK - There have been a few minor issues but I have to say that they have been resolved by email/IM and usually at a better than acceptable level - especially impressive as I am UK based!

Perhaps as a relative newbie to reselling I am easily pleased but I have to say that I am more tham pleased with the guys and gals at Hostgator

With a few recent headaches on Cadillac I have to say that all of my queries have been answered or resolved effectively. (Maybe the good old British stiff upper lip has helped here )

I had a case of pilot error today (deleted a database user in error) and the frontline allayed my fears (Christine I think?) and gave me some good advice and poinetd me in the right direction. Needless to say my problems were not as major as I thought due to the advice I was given. I could have continued blundering about but a simple reminder to adjust the config potentially file saved me hours.

Keep up the good wotk Hostgator!

Best regards

David
