actually, i'm not receiving any email (i've tried mailing myself from gmail over an hour ago) and outgoing is returning a SMTP failed to respond message. at my other office they called and said they're not able to send and receive email either.

Gator205 is being placed under a new guard profile with no_proxy template, this should help alleviate some of the connection issues. Please watch this post for more updates.

Gator 205 has been down all day today. It comes up for a few minutes then goes right back down. This applies to web, ftp, cpanel...the whole works. An ETA might be nice. Some of us have commercial sites.

I am currently working on this directly with our datacenter. We are attempting to further mitigate the attack but the attack is coming in at an extremely large volume. Unfortunately I cannot provide you with an ETA however I can assure you that gator205 and impreza are my #1 priorities.

Thanks for the update. I work in IS so I know how it is. Our phones ring off the hook with status requests and I find it is sometimes just better to say "not today, guys" than to say "we'll let you know in a couple of hours". It saves people from hanging around with fingers hovered over keyboards

Now my web its working but I think the full day to solve that is too much time.

If every time there are an attack we are almost 24 hours offline if we continue as until now, 2-3 attacks at month, in a full year we lose many days, however we must also pay them.

An ETA is an Estimated Time of Arrival. In this context, it should have been ETR for Estimated Time of Recovery, but you get the picture.

We know that DDoS attacks are unwanted and vicious to deal with, but we do our best to avoid them, and if we have to, mitigate them. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Server is up and loading pages. What is your domain name and issue you are having?

warlance.us. All addon domains not responding. Also cannot FTP using WS_FTP. I'm trying to download my sites so I can move them. I can log in to cpanel but I can't run any of the applications. Ftp allows me to download about 3 files then I get a "server refusing connection" error

At this time, gator205 appears to be up and running. Due to mitigating the DDOS attack on this server, there are a significant number of IP ranges blocked. We understand that some users are still having difficulty connecting, and it is almost certainly because of this issue. We apologize, but at this time there is no firm time estimate on when we can unblock the affected IP ranges on gator205. We are continuing to closely monitor this server, and as soon as the attack dissipates, we will begin to re-open IP ranges.

The internetsupervision test is showing your site loading fine from all but a site in Russia right now. It is loading for me as well but is a bit sluggish.

I think the problem is again today, no loading, slowly, by what I see in the other ocassions seems that something is happening.
