I am currently working on a community based website for a pet business I plan on opening in the near future. I was wondering if what I have is good enough or if it is almost to much. The site is http://www.ourpetshop.org. Any feedback or criticism would be useful.

simple & cool colors & layout.
One thing about the ads. There is way to much of them, specially if you are going to sell products or services. Remember that google uses keywords to display ads, & with the keywords you have on the site, it will be your competitors who will have ads on your site!! (you can surely manage them from the adsense account, but I'm sure it will be a hard job to control all the sites & their ads.) Just my two cents. Best of luck & keep up the gr8 work Pazeh

Thanks for the input, so far most of the ads that show up my page arent selling pet supplies in the same way that I plan to so they haven't hurt very much. I will be sure to try and put different keywords in if certain problems arise thanks for the input on that :-D
Only on the frontpage of the site are there a lot of ads, I've been told by many people when asking that the ads above the banner doesnt show up for most people thats why I currently have them above and below the news tab. Thanks for all the input I will be sure to take note of it and fix anything that turns out to hurt us instead of help! |

lol, if you're site has good prices and service it actually helps to have competitors that you're customers can see are crappy and then go back to you even more.

hello Tsume, I fully agree agree with machinedog!
at first I was in shock too, after realizing in one of my sites google had all of my "corporate" competitors on my page... but they can't compete with my prices and willingness to give service!http://www.openheadstock.com I made a search for dog brushes and clicked on all the "pay per click " dog brush adds...he he my small contribution to your pet-store-buying-budget..
