Default I originally went with Autopilot... Rethinking

After seeing the forums and that WHMCS seems to be a better product I think I should have went for that license. I should be able to just request that one and delete Autopilot off my server as I haven't really done much past the initial upload and switch to WHMCS right?

yes. i tried AP before going to WHMCS and it was not an issue to switch. It worked much better for me and I'm happy with the decision.

Goddess,

any specifics on why you switched?

I'll chime in here as well since I also switched. The main reason: AP was very difficult and confusing to setup and configure.

I never started using AP with clients -- I went with it since HG offered it free, then got frustrated with it and started looking for alternatives. I originally bought my first two WHMCS licenses -- I was so excited when HG started offering it for free!

yeah- ap didn't work properly for me, was frustrating to configure, and sent out emails to clients repeatedly when i was trying to make small changes to the account. i got disgusted with it and switched. whmcs is not perfect by a long shot, but it works a heck of a lot better for me.

I paid for my copy in the last 16 months, when did HG start to offer this for free?
Also I am wondering why you would need more then one copy?
Thanks!

Not sure. When your licence comes up for renewal, switch to a free HG licence.

I had the program for two years before HG offered it free... not 'two copies'.

Hi. Was wondering how I might go about uninstalling Autopilot. Think I've made up my mind to go with WHMCS as well.

Should I just delete the Apilot Directories and then remove db user and apilot database through cpanel? Any help would be extremely, well...helpful! I've found nothing on Google to answer this question. Thanks in advance.
