Default Opinions on just launched service - Certified Web Hosting Reviews

Hi, I'm curious what members of HostGator think of this new service we launched and if you could offer any advice or what you thought of it, we just launched a new service called Certified Hosting Reviews, here is the concept, its aimed at small resellers looking to stand out and help make more money:

Quote:
The goal of any hosting company is to gain more customers, but rather than advertising for more visitors. it is much cheaper and more effective to focus on turning more of your existing visitors into paying customers. How many of the visitors to your web site do you think you are loosing? Maybe it's because you are a small company with an unknown name. Or maybe they are afraid to trust you after being burned by another hosting company. Smart customers want a way to verify the quality of your services. This is where Certified Hosting Reviews comes in.

What We Do For You:
Bob Jones is your customer.
Bob Jones loves your service and support.
Bob Jones writes a great review about you.
But if you put it on your site, will your visitors know that Bob Jones' review is real?
In fact, how will they even know that Bob Jones is real?

You hire CertifiedHostingReviews.com to manage your user's reviews.
We collect, verify, and host reviews of your hosting company.
Jane Smith visits your web site.
Jane Smith sees you have a third party verified user review link.
Jane Smith reads Bob Jones' review and trusts it because it's verified and hosted by us.
Jane Smith buys a hosting plan from you!
Please take a look at let me know what you think!

Would you use such service?
Would you trust it?
Anything you can add would be helpful,

Negative Re: Opinions on just launched service - Certified Web Hosting Reviews

Yearly Price: $179.40 $239.40 $359.40
For those prices, I think I would just add, "References available on request". (not that they are unreasonable or anything)

Honestly, "Jane Smith" knows "Bob Jones" is just as dumb as she is and wouldn't trust a thing he said. Plus, "Bob" is unlikely to go on record with a bad review as he is still a customer and doesn't want his site "accidently" erase by a well meaning, but clumsy, tech.

I'm not sure that customers would be won over and if they left my site to verify my reviews and read up on this site, I'd worry that they wouldn't come back.

Customers may also not be won over by me giving their names to a third party for testimonal verfication. I could see problems there.

Overall, it seems like a nice idea, but knowing how people buy, I'm not sure it would be worth it. Most of the customers I get come from referrals and word of mouth, but I'm not sure that they actually ask if I'm any good or not.

To expensive for small reseller..

There's a limits to get money from customers and those limits are being past way out....

This is a customer review service, not a life saving device.

I think if you had this on your site, with a logo we offer on your frontpage or your plans page you would see a big jump in how many visitors become customers. If you get 30 visitors a day and 1 signup per day, this could potentially get you 2 signups a day with the same traffic, or more, I think it is worth the price as you are going to increase your conversion rate.

But that being said, how much would you want it to cost per month to sign up? The first plan is only 14.95 which is about what you make off one to two customers usually.
