Hi,
Does anyone no if their is a way to intigrate my wildwest domain reseller page into whm autopilot in place of enom. I already have a reseller account with godaddy so I don't need another. If not, does anybody have any suggestions on the best way to handle or automate this process.

Thanks,

magicman

Hi.

I have been using Autopilot and usually stay up to date with most of the stuff in it.

For your question ... although currently only enom is is supported in Autopilot other registrars MIGHT be supported in the next major release.

For more information i highly recommend you go to the WHM Autopilot Forums and website.

I would advise against the automated system. It IS supported for enom. And might be for more registrars. But you will lose money most of the time if you use automated reselling on domains. Other than that Register Away.

If you need an Enom Account, you can either PM me for one, or get one through hostgator. Enom's Reseller options are the best.

Can you explain this more? I am new at the domain reselling portion and wanted to offer it so customers could have one-stop shopping. How would I lose money?

The domains are registered on your account in the first place, so you pay for it. Then the options are:
- the client pays: no problem
- the client doesn't pay: if you offer payment by check or wire transfer the client could have "bought" the domain without paying for it afterwards
- the client pays with CC but uses a false credit card number: you will get a chargeback in the end when people notice they got billed for something they didn't order, or you wont get the money at all (f.e. if CC is blocked but this was not detected at the time the domain was ordered).
Besides money it will also cost you a lot of time.

How long would it take for you to verify all that and register the domain? (i.e. how long must an honest customer be expected to wait?)
