If I enable the "spam box" in spam assassin, how do I retrieve mail from the "spam box"? It says to use Horde, but I'm not sure what username and password to use as the log in.

Do I need to set up an account for spam@mydomain.com within the "add/remove accounts" section of the mail manager? Is there a way to make it so messages which are routed to the "spam box" get bounced back to the sender instead of simply being discarded?

Thanks!

you will use your outlook express...

email login will be either username/spam with your pw or useranme@domain.com/spam with your pw

No don't create any spam email it does it for you which can be accessed as described above...

If they go into the spam box they aren't being discarded... They are in the spam box waiting for someone to look at them. So there is no way to bounce it.

Thought I'd add to this even though it's a really old post.

the "/spam" should look like this in your username login: user@domain.com /spam

Note the space between the email address and the /spam. Mine didn't work until I put that space in.

Ok. I was wrong. The "/spam" will not work either way until there is spam in the Horde spam box. Once there is spam in the box, your login should look like: "user@domain.com/spam". No spaces. THe spaces only worked because there was no spam - once spam showed up, it wasn't being pulled correctly until I removed the space. Wierd stuff.
