[Open] Error log message

Hi,

I keep seing the following message in the error log:

PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/tmp/ixed/ixed.lin.4.3.3.pxp' - /tmp/ixed/ixed.lin.4.3.3.pxp: failed to map segment from shared object: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0

This error log is in my phpBB install...
Do you have any idea about what the problem is?!

This problem continues until today... every week I have to delete large error_log files all filled with this type of warning only. And it happens not only with phpBB, but also with any other php script.

A google search for ixed.lin.4.3.3.pxp leads to similar errors with scripts that are protected with sourcegurardian http://www.sourceguardian.com/ixeds/.
Could that have anything to do with it?

Hi Stef,

Yes, I think it has to do with it... I believe the loader needs to be installed. I'm contacting support again to know if they plan to install it.

I am wondering if this is in the process of being fixed? If not, it renders phpadsnew useless. I once again installed phpadsnew and once again am getting the same error the opriginal poster gets.

I again installed phpadsnew and tried to use it. The problem remains. Is there any chance of this getting problem solved? It has been open since June.

Okay, I have just now tried to install Wordpress and phpESP and I get the same error message as the above. It is also the same message received when I tried to use phpadsnew. Now, it is apparent that this particular problem does not seem to concern the powers that be. However, it is also apparent that the problem is rendering most, if not all, of the Fantastico programs useless on my particular server. The error logs for phpadsnew alone were monstrous. Now, since this has been going on since June I do not think anyone could possibly say we have not been patient. I would like to see this problem fixed ASAP and I would like to see a response and promise that it WILL be fixed ASAP.

Yes, I did in June. No, they did not. Other than telling me that there were many customers using phpadsnew with no problem, nothing was ever done. It is apparent even to a web neanderthal like myself that there is a problem that cannot be fixed by the customer since it is happening across a number of applications and across a number of accounts. I just want it fixed so we can use the features touted.

Some other clients have also got phpadsnew on our servers and it works for them. We dont have much programming or PHP knowledge as troubleshooting and Installations is what we keep on doing most of the times. Please reopen this ticket if you feel that the problem is on server side and we will fix the issue.
