Online Speedtester Script In Fantastico

I had a great Idea that would probably help a lot of people who host downloads & media files. I've noticed a lot of people aren't sure how long a file would take to load as they don't know their own internet connection speed. I was thinking of a customizable script where visitors can check their own internet speed and get a response as to how long it would take for a file to download or suggest what media stream bitrate to play based on their internet connection. I'd love to have it myself. I was also thinking of having the same script to check a users upload speed.
