Default I once had great respect..

I once had great respect for HostGator, and thought they were the best around.

I've been a customer of HostGator for about three years now, and have never had any real issues. The support was always great, and my tickets were responded to very fast. I was proud to state that I used HostGator, and would advise friends to use HostGator.

However, over the past month or so my opinion has changed. First starting with a ticket that was never responded to, so two hours after submitting the ticket I had found a way to fix the problem and I closed the ticket myself. Although, about a week later I was having performance issues with my dedicated server, and it took about five hours to get a response on a ticket that I had submitted about the performance. I don't know if those response times are something that is normal here at HostGator, but I was used to 20 to 60 minute response times, and that just blew my mind when it took so long to get a response.

Another thing is that I ordered a new dedicated server Sunday, and I'm still waiting for it to be setup, and it's Tuesday night. I would have never imagined in all my time here that HostGator would become so slow in their services, as HostGator was the only place that I thought I could get fast and reliable service(s).

Josh,

I apologize we were not able to meet your expectations. We strive to provide the best support possible and I am deeply sorry for the lack of response within that ticket. I will be looking into what we can do to prevent these types of issues from happening in the future.

In regards to your dedicated server, I have confirmed it is now up and running. You should have received a welcome email with credentials and information that pertain to your new server.
