OK - I finally got my home page to transfer successfully to the host BUT when I open my site in my browser (orowards.com), instead of my home page I get an index that shows all my files and all my add-on domain names/files. Can somebody please help me - again?
Thanks!

Something has been changed somewhere.
It is not opening in the public_html directory where it's suppose to. We also see a lot of directories with content that should not be there, probably from other tries at uploading your web pages. I would contact support. as an amenment to my post, I have a feeling you created the public_html directory, which is why it is not showing. Move everything to the the main directory from the piblic_html dir. that you created. Last edited by TeeJa; 05-17-2006 at 10:40 AM. |

Hi Guys
Thanks for the info - but I didn't create any directories, at least not intentionally! I will see if I can get some info from support. Thanks for helping.

Sometimes it's easier to just get a FTP client program, and use it to transfer your files. This way you know where what goes rather than a canned program trying to figure it out, and most of the time it will think your on a MS server.
It's called "file management", or learning to navigate the hard drive. A lot of these issues like this on this forum are due to "file management".....
