Default No idea which server, but all sites down

For example, http://www.developercast.com/ is down, same with http://www.hercast.com/

As I am in Europe, I need to get some sleep but how long does it take to respond to a ticket flagged as critical????

I have about 15 sites with Hostgator, all have been down for 2 hours.

Nice for a company claiming 99.9% uptime.

What chances a reply from support by the time I get out of bed?

Your server seems to be gator218 IP 70.87.226.18
This sever is responding as now but with a 500 Err, at least from your domain.
Trying to connect direct to the server, the answer is fine and fast.
Was this server upgraded to phpsueexec? with 777 chmod's or...

Will hope somebody from gator218 or a support wiz will read this during your cinderella time.

Indeed, websites arn't down.

Did you change anything that could effect those two websites?

Well, after a few hours' sleep, my sites are back up and I got a reply from Support 3 hours after submitting it saying that there is no problem.

I expect that would be a common response if you wait 3 hours to reply to a ticket flagged as critical.

I had not changed anything on the sites that caused the errors, in the same way that I did not then change anything in my sleep to get them to return.

It was not just these two sites but an additional 14 domains.

Every domain in my account was affected, it was nothing I had done.

If you were getting 500 Internal Server Errors, it usually means the following..

-- You have more then 25 processes running at one time.
-- You have PHP settings in your htaccess file
-- You are using chmod 777, or the files are writable by other users.

In this case, it looks like you may have been using over 25 processes as there are hanging processes from your account. This server almost a 60 day uptime, and hasn't had any issues from what I can see.
