I am considering a hatchling hosting plan and I need to know if FreeType support is enabled in PHP.
Also, is there a limit to how many tables I may have in my MySQL database? Sizewise, I use a 6 meg database with 6 tables. I would also want to run Google Adsense banners. Most of my site would be PHP-generated pages pulling from the database and a gig or so storage space for images. Any red flags here? I do run Apache 2.0.59 / PHP 5.2.4 / MySQL 4.1.22 Community locally. |

According to posts from staff in the forum FreeType should be supported on all servers. You could also contact LiveSupport to verify. You should have no problems with the site you describe.

Apache 2 isn't on most of the servers yet, if that is a requirement for your setup.

I am not using anything specific to Apache 2, so that shouldn't be a problem.

the main thing that comes up in a shared hosting environment is if you get enough activity to put a strain on the cpu. with what you're describing, you're not going to have that with your regular site activity, so i wouldn't worry about it. if you need php 5 specifically, you'd want to be aware of that from the beginning. if i remember correctly, most of hg's servers currently run dual setups of php 4 and 5, or at least they used to so you may have to specifiy which you'll be using.
